The solution provides convenience, giving jurisdictions the right quantity of ballots for every election, and during early voting. While other systems charge per click, KNOWiNK provides a flat fee to purchase the system and a per-election setup fee. This model provides jurisdictions budget predictability and user friendliness.
A Solution Designed With Poll Workers in Mind
With the optional Poll Print Transport Cart, Poll Print does not require any poll worker interaction with the printer. There is a slot above the printer for ballots to easily print within the cart, so nothing needs to be lifted or carried out of the cart. The cart also has wheels and is easily moved around by the poll workers and election staff.
Simple to Transport and Store
During transport, the Poll Print system is protected from damage and the elements by the optional steel cart. To prepare Poll Print for transport, unplug the cable and store it inside the rear door, then close the front doors and lock all of the doors with the keys provided.
Poll Print is ideal for storage because the optional cart is completely self-contained and has wheels. Simply roll it onto the truck, then roll it off the truck into a warehouse.
High Capacity, Certified Printer
KNOWiNK’s system uses OKI printers. The printer’s capability includes large format duplexing and edge-to-edge printing for both gray scale and color ballots. The OKI printer can print around 20 pages duplexed front and back per minute. With the KNOWiNK Poll Print solution, jurisdictions will have plenty of capacity, even during the busiest times.
